US 30 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Phase I Design Report

Project Description

A multi, million-dollar study sponsored by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the consultant team is charged with exploring proposed transportation improvements for a 24-mile long roadway project from Morrison to Sterling-Rock Falls, Illinois. The US 30 project is being developed by using the principles of Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) lead by Hudson and Associates, LLC (Hudson).  Hudson developed and implemented strategies designed to engage community stakeholders such as transportation partners, civic and elected leaders, business leaders, project advisory committees, and the general public in the study process.  Hudson is also responsible for developing and maintaining the project’s website; drafting newsletters; and creating collateral materials to ensure that the public is informed and engaged throughout the progress of the project.
