St. Louis Public Schools Proposition S Improvements 

Project Description

The St. Louis Public School District passed Prop S bond issue in 2010 to provide $155M program for district-wide school building repairs and facility improvements.  The measure provided the District with funds to renovate its schools—some of which are more than 100 years old. Each of the District’s schools have enjoyed improvements, ranging from new playscapes, air conditioning, ADA enhancements, kitchens and classrooms to updated science labs, cafeterias and extracurricular facilities.

Hudson and Associates, LLC (Hudson) served on the Construction Management Team and provided contractor compliance oversight, public engagement, community and industry outreach initiatives, diversity strategies, public relations and project planning. Hudson served minority and women owned contractors by facilitating partnerships, assisting with contract resolutions and monitoring payment schedules.
