A Father’s Legacy – A Daughter’s Success
No novice to transportation and infrastructure projects, Shelia Hudson spent her formative years under the tutelage of her father at Randolph Construction in Nashville, TN. There she learned all the intricacies of business management, client satisfaction and producing a timely work effort. After working in the industry with numerous municipal agencies and one of the worlds largest engineering concerns, she founded Hudson and Associates, LLC after managing her father’s firm for 5 years upon his retirement.
Hudson began providing professional services specializing in parking management and operations support, planning, public relations and construction management. Hudson services include are supported by a highly trained workforce possessing strong skill sets in project operations and management, operations support, systems integration, customer call services, information and paging services, document controls, citation processing and marketing expertise.
For nearly 10 years Hudson has performed for the City of St. Louis, installing and maintaining parking meter systems in addition to servicing its citizens with stellar customer service at the Parking Violation Bureau. Hudson’s previous Construction/ Construction Management clients include; St. Louis Public Schools and The Lambert— St. Louis International Airport and the St Louis Metropolitan Sewer District. For numerous master plans and studies, Hudson has developed stakeholder public relations and marketing plans for the Illinois and Missouri DOT’s along with various government agencies. Hudson has worked with clients to identify communication tools and community relations strategies designed to engage key stakeholders and citizens around project initiatives and public policy related to infrastructure and transportation, education, environmental and economic development programs. Hudson staff of over 48 serve clients in the St. Louis, MO; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Southern Illinois; and Charleston, SC markets.
