Parking Service Technician | Nashville International Airport (BNA)

Parking Service Technicians provide a vital link between the customer, parking management team and facilities operations supervisors.  They provide service to parkers needing assistance upon request and are responsible for operational and maintenance activities for airport parking facilities. Must have excellent customer service skills. Duties include assisting parkers with vehicle service: maintaining parking facilities and related equipment: assist with preventing theft and damage to vehicles and facilities by patrolling parking lots and garages routinely; traffic direction and ensuring parking spaces are well maximized by keeping them orderly and clean. 

Parking Service Technicians must understand basic mechanical functions of a vehicle and how to use the proper tools for various job services. You must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and have a valid driver license. The Parking Service Technician will report directly to the Operations Manager, and to all Site Managers and Supervisors scheduled for each shift. This is a 24/7 airport parking operation, candidates and must be available to work their required shift or such other times as the management of the parking operation may require. Starting hourly wage $13.00 plus tips.

  • Assist parkers with disabled vehicles (example: vehicle jumps, inflating flat tires, lockouts).

Maintenance Porter / CSR | Nashville International Airport (BNA)

This position reports to the Operations Manager for Hudson, and for purposes of the project the Manager on Duty at Nashville International Airport (BNA). This position maintains the cleanliness of the BNA Park parking facilities and must have a general knowledge of various equipment operations as well as a basic understanding of cleaning and snow removal/treatment equipment, building maintenance, and comprehension of Airport Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures manual (SOP) for the position. Job duties include but are not limited to; performing a variety of manual work and maintenance Airport facilities, preventative maintenance of equipment, and other duties as assigned. Customer service skills required. Applicants must be able to work outdoors and in inclement weather and can lift 40 lbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Trash Removal

Clear trash and debris from Terminal Garages, surface lots, cashier booths, drive lanes, valet lounge, and all other areas as identified by the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA).

Weatherization / Snow Removal

As the weather dictates the Maintenance and Janitorial CSR will be responsible for treating and removing snow from lots and garages on sidewalks, access points, walking paths around cashier booths, and all other areas as identified by the MNAA.

Customer Assistance 

Help customers as needed with the following:

    • Jump starts
    • Air in tires
    • Locating lost vehicles
    • Lock-outs

Additional duties:

  • Perform a “Vehicle Inspection” of the company vehicle you will be driving during your shift. This MUST be completed BEFORE the beginning of your duties. Report any vehicle or property damage immediately to your manager.

Job Description: The Lead Technician/Shop Coordinator performs routine meter repairs and maintenance activities in a variety of work environments. This is a lead position with supervisory responsibilities for day-to-day operations of the meter services division. Duties include planning, developing, coordinating, administering, and evaluating projects. Applies processes, procedures, systems, and standards to tasks; plans and administers workflow; and ensures compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, city regulations, codes, and/or standards.  Also develops schedules, in addition to assign, guides, and monitors the daily activities and equipment in the building.  Supervises a team and conducts hiring, site and policy and procedures training, performance evaluations, in addition to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Performs a variety of meter repairs and maintenance duties across many platforms. This position plays a critical role in keeping meter operations up and running efficiently. Provides leadership to the maintenance department and maintains equipment and the shop area. Operates maintenance equipment and vehicles, making a class E valid driver’s license essential.

Cashier

Job Description:  Cashiers are responsible for taking money in the form of cash, check, or credit card from patrons for payment on outstanding parking citation/ticket. They will scan items into the data base, provides change, balances drawer daily, and processes card transactions. Hudson is looking for a dependable cashier to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.  The cashier also maintains our database by entering new and updated handwritten parking tickets.  Reports to the Operations Supervisor.

  • Issue receipts for customer making payments 
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately to account for all collected parking ticket revenue.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Communicate with citizens via the (Parking Violation Bureau) to address inquiries regarding parking citations in a professional and courteous manner. 
  • Responsible for fully understanding the business practices in accordance with the City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office program and Hudson and Associates, LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer service with each citizen call.
  • Process paperwork for refunds.
  • Research and review correspondence to determine action required.
  • Continually maintain working knowledge of all parking codes, pricing, and procedures. 
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them when needed and provide relevant information
  • Maintain clean and tidy work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Data Entry/Customer Service Representative

Job Description:  The Data Entry/Customer Service Representative (CSR) transfers data from paper format into our computer and database system.  This position is responsible for entering and updating customer information and receiving inbound calls from customers.  This initial inbound call maybe the customer’s first opportunity to understanding the parking citation policies for our city.  It is therefore imperative, that the Data Entry/Customer Service Representative (CSR) have a thorough understanding of all Parking Violations Bureau policies and procedures. We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative to act as a liaison, provide services, information and resolve any emerging concerns that our clients may have with a high level of accuracy.  This position will assist citizens by providing parking citation information, determining appropriate action to resolve problems, answering inquires, maintaining database, scheduling adjudicator appointments, data entry, and other duties as assigned. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction within a reasonable amount of time.  Reports to the CSR Supervisor.
